Point of Care Ultrasound
Dr. Webb serves as our POCUS rotation director. He has interests in all things ultrasound, especially cardiac and procedural applications. He is a graduate of the Ultrasound Leadership Academy.

Interns complete a 2 week POCUS rotation in the Emergency Department learning the basics of bedside image acquisition and interpretation. They also have access to the Symbionix U/S Mentor, a novel training model with high fidelity.

Senior residents have the opportunity to participate in an Advanced Ultrasound Elective rotation that focuses more on echocardiography and peripheral nerve blocks. Residents may also use this time to formulate a QI project, research proposal, or produce a lecture/online module in an EM ultrasound topic of their interest.
